How to Remove Shine?

Having 'Shiny' Problem even after Makeup?

A friend asked me today how to get rid or prevent shine even after makeup. It seems to be quite a common problem as I've heard the same question a few times.

Personally I do not have this 'shiny' situation so don't really have first hand experience to share. However based on what I know, blotting paper does help. You can still use it after you put on your makeup.

If you are those who are adverse to blotting paper, one other way is to use blot powder to set your makeup after your foundation. For instance, M.A.C Blot Powder which comes in three neutal tones (light, medium, and dark).

For small target area e.g. sides of your nose, you can use a small brush. For wider areas e.g. forehead, use a velour puff. Even after you use the velour puff to apply the powder, it is good to use the brush to brush off any loose powder.

Try this out and let me know how effective or ineffective it is for you... :)

Best Eyelash Curler

I've tried many brands of eyelash curler, both cheap and expensive ones.

I must say Shiseido Eyelash Curler is the best. It is easy to use and can reach my lashes as close to the roots as humanly possible...

Just to clarify, Shiseido did not pay me to advertise for them. Just want to share a good product I've found... and you can get it here at a good price!
